  I propose that heretofore every April 7 be celebrated as Council Disestablishment Day.  On this day we remember the history of Avery and all the effort, soul-searching, and sometimes-spirited debate about how to plan for Avery's future, that got us to this point.

  If anyone would like to celebrate the first Council Disestablishment Day by going out to dinner or anything else tonight, I'm willing to drive.

Hi Avery,

Voting on the constitutional amendments has ended and here are the results:

Yes - 57 votes
No - 3 votes
Abstain - 9 votes

That's a total of 69 votes, so quorum was (barely) reached.  The ratio of Yes:No votes is 19:1.  The amendments have been passed and the amended constitution will take effect immediately.  Thanks to everyone who voted!

As a reminder, please let me know if you are planning to run for any offices!
